Please join the Center for Research on Lifelong STEM Learning for a seminar and discussion with Howard Gobstein, Executive Vice President of the Science and Mathematics Teaching Imperative at the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities. The seminar will focus on insights about the disconnect between the evidence about effective teaching and our dominant practices based on funded projects underway at APLU. We will also discuss how OSU can collaborate across institutions to identify promising solutions. Join us Tuesday, November 1st in the Native American Longhouse from three to four in the afternoon as we hear from Howard Gobstien, Executive vice president at APLU about active learning practice, and what's stopping us from making changes in undergraduate classrooms.
